The short version
- We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA across our website and apps.
- Inboxy is partially conformant today: most of it works well with keyboards and screen readers, and we list the known gaps below.
- Tell us about any barrier at [email protected] — we aim to reply within [5 business days].
1. Our commitment
Nexlla Creative Agency wants Inboxy to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who are blind or have low vision, are deaf or hard of hearing, have motor or cognitive disabilities, or use assistive technology. We treat accessibility as part of quality: new features are designed and reviewed with accessibility in mind, and accessibility bugs are fixed with the same priority as other defects that block people from using Inboxy.
Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, applied to the website and web app and, as far as the guidelines apply, to our desktop and mobile apps. We also follow the accessibility guidance of Apple, Google and Microsoft for their platforms.
2. What we do
- Semantic structure. Pages and screens use proper headings, landmarks, lists, labelled form controls and a “skip to content” link, so assistive technology can describe and navigate them.
- Full keyboard use. Everything can be done without a mouse. Inboxy has keyboard shortcuts for common actions and a command palette (
⌘Kon Mac,Ctrl+Kon Windows and the web) to reach any command by typing. - Visible focus. The keyboard focus is always clearly shown and moves in a logical order.
- Reduced motion. If you turn on “reduce motion” in your operating system, Inboxy removes non-essential animation.
- Colour and contrast. Light and dark themes are designed for readable contrast, information is never conveyed by colour alone, and we support Windows forced-colours (high-contrast) mode.
- Text resizing. Text can be enlarged up to 200% without loss of content or function, and the apps respect your system text-size settings where the platform supports it.
- Text alternatives. Meaningful images and icons have text alternatives; decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
- Accessible components. Tabs, menus, dialogs and expandable sections (such as our FAQ) use standard patterns that announce their state.
- Media. Inboxy does not currently publish video or audio content, so captions and transcripts are not applicable. If we add such content, we will provide them.
- Assistive technology testing. We test key journeys with VoiceOver on macOS and iOS, TalkBack on Android and NVDA on Windows [confirm testing coverage].
3. Conformance status
Inboxy is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of the content or functionality do not yet fully meet the standard. We would rather tell you that plainly than claim more than we have verified.
4. Known limitations
- Email from other senders. Inboxy displays emails as their senders wrote them. Marketing emails in particular may rely on images without text alternatives, low-contrast colours or complex layouts. We can’t fix the content of other people’s emails, but you can switch to a plain-text view of a message, and AI summaries (if you use AI) give a text overview.
- Third-party screens. Signing in to Google or Microsoft, approving permissions, App Store and Google Play pages, and the Proton Mail Bridge app are provided by those companies, and their accessibility is outside our control.
- Website images. Some older screenshots and illustrations on the website may have incomplete text descriptions or show text as part of an image. We are replacing them.
- Complex views. Some dense areas, such as bulk actions and rule editing, may be harder to use with a screen reader than we would like. We are improving announcements and structure there.
If you hit any of these — or anything else — please tell us. Reports help us decide what to fix first.
5. Compatibility
The website and web app are designed to work with the latest two versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, and with current screen readers including VoiceOver, NVDA and JAWS. The mobile apps support VoiceOver on iPhone and TalkBack on Android on recent operating system versions. Older browsers or assistive technologies may still work but are not tested.
6. Feedback and alternative formats
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of Inboxy. If you find a barrier, need help with a task, or want this or any of our legal documents in another format (for example large print, plain text or an accessible PDF), contact us:
- Email: [email protected]
- Post: [Nexlla Creative Agency — registered legal name], [Registered address — street, building, city, Emirate, United Arab Emirates], United Arab Emirates
Please tell us the page or screen, the device and assistive technology you use, and what happened. We aim to acknowledge your message within [5 business days] and to propose a fix or a workaround within a reasonable time. If we cannot fix the problem quickly, we will help you complete the task another way.
7. How we assessed Inboxy
This statement is based on a self-evaluation by our team, combining automated checks with manual testing using keyboards and screen readers, carried out as of October 19, 2026. It has not yet been verified by an independent auditor [confirm before publication]. We review this statement whenever we make significant changes and at least once a year.
8. Complaints and enforcement
If you are not satisfied with our response, please write to us again at [email protected] marked “Accessibility complaint” and a senior member of the team will review it.
Depending on where you live, you may also be able to contact a public body. For example, in the United Arab Emirates, Federal Law No. 29 of 2006 on the Rights of People of Determination (as amended) promotes equal access for people of determination, and you may contact the relevant federal or emirate-level authority. In the European Union, the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) sets accessibility requirements for certain digital services, and national market surveillance authorities handle complaints where it applies. Whether these laws apply to Inboxy in a particular case depends on the circumstances, and nothing in this statement limits any rights you have under them.
